Dr. Steve Searcy earned his B.S. degree from ULM in 1970 and received his D.D.S. and certificate in orthodontics from LSU six years later. In practice since 1977, Dr. Searcy is a member of the Acadiana District Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association, American Dental Association, Louisiana Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists and the American Association of Orthodontists. He was board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics in 1988.

Dr. Searcy has been married for 24 years and has two daughters. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing and jet-skiing. He also sponsors the annual Big Brothers/Big Sisters “Bowl for Kids’ Sake” and the annual “Games of Acadiana.”
