Cancellation Policy for Orthodontic Appointments

Our mission at Searcy Orthodontics is to provide orthodontic excellence in a timely, caring fashion. The most important factor in achieving the best possible results and finishing treatment on time is patient cooperation, especially being here for your scheduled appointments! We totally understand that illnesses, emergencies, flat tires, bad weather, etc. can occur when least expected. We try our very best to accommodate many busy schedules, school activities, work, etc. and thus expect our patients to give us at least 24 hours notice if they cannot keep an appointment. This notice affords us the opportunity to fill your vacant time slot with another patient. We appreciate your understanding and consideration regarding our cancellation and failed appointment policy.

  • Cancellation or rescheduling of an appointment with 24 or more hours notification will result in no penalty.
  • A failed appointment is an appointment that is canceled/rescheduled without 24 hours notice or an appointment where a patient does not show up.
  • We do allow for (2) broken appointments as a courtesy.
  • Each additional failed appointments) will incur a minimum charge of $35, possibly more depending on length of the appointment/time lost.

To cancel appointments please call 337-984-0178. If you do not reach the scheduling coordinator, you may leave a detailed message on the voice mail or with our after-hours answering service. You may also cancel your appointment using the confirmation e-mail that is sent to you from Searcy Orthodontics through our patient communication system, Sesame Communications.
